Marissa did wonderful job for us with my daughter’s wedding. I originally hired her to help with the day of coordination because our reception venue was kind of a DIY space and the decorations and place settings all needed set up the morning of the wedding.I wanted to be able to enjoy the day with my daughter rather than worry about setting up place settings and flowers and I didn't want to have to ask people who were guests to the wedding to do all the “work”.What I didn’t realize was what a help Marissa would be leading up to the wedding - the planning meetings we had helped us feel confident everything was right on track. She was a huge help in making a timeline for the day and just bouncing ideas off each other. She helped us make decisions and gave us thoughtful advice.She was wonderful to work with and on the day of the wedding I felt completely confident in her executing our vision for the space. She kept in touch all day by text - but in a way that didn’t overwhelm me. She did an amazing job of setting everything up and I was moved to tears when I walked into the barn and saw it!She gained my confidence with every conversation and each planning meeting but what did not expect was how she just stepped right into the day and handled every little detail so I didn’t have to! There was nothing for me to stress over! She worked well with all our vendors as well as the wedding party and our family. I would highly recommend her and feel her pricing was quite reasonable for her services.We have one more daughter to marry off and I won’t hesitate to put Marissa in the budget for our next wedding!

Best decision of all my vendors was by far Marissa! From the beginning she was so helpful with getting organized and pulling together all the details in all our meetings. The day of our wedding she took all the stress away. My husband and me enjoyed our day fully while Marissa handled all details small and large. Our families complimented how smooth the day went and we owe that all to Marissa. While our venue had a “day or coordinator” their priority is still the venue, Marissa was there for us making sure all our needs were handled. I highly recommend MB Event Planning!

Marissa was absolutely wonderful as our day-of wedding coordinator, and I truly cannot recommend her enough! From the very beginning, she made sure every detail was organized and ready for our big day. She attended our rehearsal, which was invaluable. She brought everyone together- including the wedding party, family members, officiant, and organist- and made sure everyone knew exactly where they needed to be and what to expect. Having her there took so much stress off of us. On the wedding day, Marissa and her sister were incredible. They made sure all of our decorations were set up beautifully, kept the wedding party organized and on schedule, and handled countless details behind the scenes. My husband and I chose not to see each other before the ceremony, and Marissa was so thoughtful about helping us avoid crossing paths by keeping doors closed and coordinating movement throughout the venue. She also ensured that all of our reception vendors arrived and that the reception space was ready to go. One thing we especially appreciated was that she transported décor from the ceremony site to the reception space so everything looked perfect without us having to worry about it. She even took on the added responsibility of making sure allergen-safe meals were delivered to the correct guests. Marissa’s attention to detail, organization, and calm presence allowed us to truly enjoy our wedding day without worrying about logistics. She went above and beyond in every way, and hiring her was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. 10/10 experience- I would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding!

She was the best addition to our special day & I truly don’t think our day would have been what it was without her! From the early days of helping me find vendors, monthly check ins, answering any random texts and keeping me calm on the big day, she didn’t miss a single detail. She was in contact with my vendors, went to the final meeting with the venue & made our day go smoothly. I could actually relax and step back because I knew Marissa had it all under control. Having Marissa allowed me to be present with my bridesmaids on the morning of my wedding because I knew she had everything under control. I cannot recommend Marissa enough!! She went above and beyond to make my day go so smoothly. My decor looked even better than I imagined and the whole day went exactly as planned (thanks to her helping with our timeline!). Our Photo Booth rental ended up having some issues and Marissa and her mom stayed past their scheduled time to help fix it. I seriously can’t sing her praises enough. If you are on the fence about hiring a coordinator, just do it and make sure it’s Marissa because she’s the best investment you can make for your day!
